Recipe: Mocktails

At the recent Ocsober launch event, Cruise Bar mixologist Luis Bruce & celebrity trainer Michelle Bridges prepared some mocktails. Here are the recipes.

King’s Ginger

1 Part Apple Juice
3 Parts Ginger Beer
Squeeze of Fresh Lime Juice
Dash of Bitters

Build all ingredients over ice in a tall glass
Garnish with a lime wheel twist and cucumber slices

Pineapple & Mint Martini

3 Chunks of Fresh Pineapple
5 Mint Leaves
60ml Pineapple Juice
1 tsp Raw Sugar

Muddle pineapple and mint
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass
Garnish with mint leaf

Pineapple & Mint Martini

Lychee & Passionfruit Crush

4 Lychees
3 Lime Cheeks
1 tsp Passionfruit Pulp
1 tsp Raw Sugar
Apple Juice to Finish

Muddle all fruit with sugar and add apple juice
Shake with ice and serve in a tumbler
Garnish with a skewered lychee

Michelle Bridges’ Berry & Lime Mocktail

3 Blackberries
3 Raspberries
3 Strawberries
1/2 a Lime, Quartered
1 tsp sugar syrup
Soda to Finish

Muddle the berries and lime
Add crushed ice, top with sugar syrup and soda and stir well
Garnish with mint
This drink is less that 100 calories!
